Proyecto inspirado en un cuento de mi autoría, como resultado de mi reflexión personal sobre la dificultad de surgir en el arte, también aplicable a quienes se llenan de dudas en el camino de alcanzar sus metas.
Las obras muestran pedazos de papeles arrugados, en las que están presentes investigaciones, documentos e imágenes de las etnias que habitan la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Barco de papel

Isabel frustrada, pensando que el camino que seguía, no la llevaría a ningún lugar, recoge toda su investigación y comienza a arrugar hoja por hoja; con coraje. Arroja cada documento, cada fotografía en la papelera. De pronto van saltando de ella los papeles arrugados sobre el piso, algunos comienzan a desdoblarse ante su mirada estupefacta, otros se transforman adoptando curiosas formas.
Un barco de papel se detiene frente a Isabel por un instante, sale por la puerta y sigue su camino hacia la playa donde pronto el oleaje lo adentra al mar. Isabel queda atónita, no sabe si le sirva de algo meterse al mar y enfrentarse a la marea sólo por seguir un barco de papel.

Project inspired by a story of my authorship, as a result of my personal reflection on the difficulty of emerging in art, also applicable to those who are filled with doubts on the way to achieve their goals.
The works show pieces of crumpled paper, in which are present investigations, documents and images of the ethnic groups that inhabit the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Paper boat
Isabel, frustrated, thinking that the path she was following would lead her nowhere, collects all her research and begins to crumple sheet by sheet; with courage. Throw every document, every photograph in the trash. Suddenly the crumpled papers on the floor are jumping out of it, some begin to unfold before her astonished gaze, others are transformed adopting curious shapes.
A paper boat stops in front of Isabel for a moment, goes out the door and continues on its way to the beach where the waves soon carry it into the sea. Isabel is stunned, she doesn't know if it will help her to go into the sea and face the tide just to follow a paper boat.
